A discreet lanyard add-on that does the remembering bit.
This Basketball NFC Tag is a tap-to-open add-on designed for lanyards, but it’s just as handy clipped onto anything you’d normally pop a keyring on; bags, coats, keys, pencil cases, zip pulls, ID holders, phone straps, backpacks, travel cases, lunch bags — you name it.
We programme it for you before it leaves us, so it’s ready to use straight away.

How to use
-
Pick your action: Tap to Call, Tap for Directions, or Tap to Open a Link
-
We programme it for you, so there’s nothing to fiddle with
-
Give it a quick test when it arrives, just so you know it’s doing exactly what you wanted.
-
Tap the tag with a phone to open the action (some phones show a prompt first)
-
Keep it where you’ll actually reach for it: lanyard, keys, bag strap, coat zip, pencil case, ID holder
-
Some links may open in your browser/app depending on your phone and installed apps.
-
Tip: tap the back of the phone near the top for the best scan. Very thick cases or metal phone backs can affect scanning — try without the case if needed.
Phone compatibility
-
Works with most modern smartphones with NFC enabled (iPhone and Android).
-
Your phone may need to be unlocked to use it.
-
If NFC is turned off in settings, the tag won’t open until it’s enabled.
-
This isn’t GPS tracking — it only works when someone taps it with a phone.
Privacy note (quick but important)
Anyone with physical access to the tag can tap it, so keep your setup sensible. Avoid storing anything you wouldn’t want a stranger to access.
