Meet the Magnetic Duo, our build-your-own magnetic fidget designed for repetitive one-handed movement.

Each Duo comes with two 5cm magnetic pieces, made as a compatible pair. Slide them against each other, push them apart, twist, spin, separate and feel them pull and snap back together.

Our favourite move? Push one upwards, spin it around and let the magnets pull it straight back into place. Ridiculously satisfying once your fingers get into the rhythm.

The magnetic resistance has been carefully balanced too. Strong enough to give you that satisfying pull and snap, without being unnecessarily difficult to manipulate.

And because you’re getting two separate pieces, you can build each one differently.

Waves

Repeating curved waves for rubbing, tracing and running your fingertips across.

Lines

Straight raised lines that are particularly good for tracing, repetitive rubbing and nail-bed stimming.

Grip

Lots of small raised points for stronger tactile feedback and extra grip against your fingers. More intense than Waves and Lines, but not a sharp Spikz-style texture.

So, what do you do with them?

Whatever your hands decide, frankly.

Slide them
Move the two pieces backwards and forwards against the magnetic resistance.

Push & snap
Push one away and feel the magnets pull the pair back together.

Spin them
Push one upwards, rotate it around and let it snap back into position.

Separate & reconnect
Pull them completely apart and bring them back together again.

Rub & trace
Each piece has its own tactile surface, so you’ve also got two textures to fiddle with independently.

It’s particularly good for one-handed fidgeting. Both pieces sit nicely in the hand and you can keep the movement going without needing to concentrate on what you’re doing.

Made for pockets

At approximately 5cm long, the Magnetic Duo is small enough to chuck in your pocket or bag and take with you.

Great for travelling, desks, sofa fidgeting or those times when your hands have apparently decided they require permanent employment.

Just bear in mind that this one isn’t silent. Sliding, spinning and snapping the magnets creates audible feedback, so we’d choose something quieter if you’re looking for a completely discreet fidget.
